OVERVIEW

1 - How did you come to the leather industry?

In the area I live in, job opportunities are limited. It is a small town of about 5.000 people. Of the possibilities I found, I chose to work in a tannery.

2 – What job are you performing in the leather industry?

I am a worker and depending on the production needs, I carry out any of the leather processing activities in the manufacturing process.

3 - What qualification or training did you do to be there?

I do not have any qualifications acquired by attending specialised courses. I learned the skills while working.

4 - What do you (most) appreciate in your job?

The result of work, namely the transformation of the raw material, from a less agreeable product to the spectacular, pleasant and very useful finished product.

I like the result of work, namely the transformation of the raw material, from a less agreeable product to the spectacular, pleasant and very useful finished product.
