Description
Negotiations for the most recent collective agreement for the tanning sector, which began on the 30th of January 2019 and reached a pre-agreement on the main issues on 27/05/19, culminated in the signing of the formal agreement on 27/06/19.
Below, we highlight the most significant aspects of the new agreement and point out the areas set to undergo some type of change. When we have the new wording approved by all parties, we will update and resend you the information or include it with the final approved text of the agreement after the signing scheduled for June.
- Validity
3 years. It comes into effect on the date of signing and will remain valid until the 31st of December 2021.
- Salary increase
2019: 2%
2020: 2%
2021: 2%
-Review clause:
the tables will be reviewed if the increase is less than CPI, to a limit of 2.5%.
- Working time
Working hours maintained at 1,772 hours for the entire term of the new agreement.
- Permits, medical attention hours and other aspects
Medical appointment leave: Medical appointment leave increased by 4 hours, and age of accompaniment extended to 16 years.
Insurance policy: Extension of the insurance policy to 25 euros.
Adoption leave: 60 days unpaid.
- Equality policies
Equality officer: 5 hours per month in addition to the time allowance given to workers’ representatives benefit (limited to a maximum of 40 hours)
Gender violence: reduction of working hours by 1 hour per day with no reduction of maximum salary (for a period of 6 months plus possible further 6-month extension), following prior efforts to reorganise working hours and provided that the arrangement is of benefit for the worker
- Others
Reduction of the adaptation periods provided for in article 12 of the Agreement to 3 months
Holidays: possibility of adding remaining unused holiday to Epiphany week.
Works and services contracts: Maximum duration increased to 4 years
Relief contracts: accumulation of hours

Specifically, articles 52, 82 and 85, have been copied from the current legislation.
Annex IV of the agreement has been updated to include a harassment protocol and a complaint form for companies that do not have a protocol.
Las negociaciones sobre el último convenio colectivo del sector curtidos, iniciadas el 30 de enero de 2019 y que en 27 /5/19 se firma un documento de preacuerdo sobre los principales temas en cuestión, culminan con la firma del convenio en 27/6/19.
A continuación, destacamos los puntos más importantes y señalamos los temas que van a sufrir algún tipo de cambio y en la medida en que dispongamos de los nuevos redactados aprobados por las partes, lo comunicaremos de nuevo o los mandaremos junto con el documento de aprobación definitiva del nuevo texto del convenio resultante de la firma prevista para el mes de junio.
- Vigencia
3 años. Entra en vigor en la fecha de su firma y mantendrá su vigencia hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2021.
- Incremento salarial
2019: 2%
2020: 2%
2021: 2%
-Cláusula de revisión:
se revisarán las tablas en lo que exceda del incremento pactado y el IPC con
el límite del 2’5%.
- Jornada
Mantenimiento de la jornada en 1772 horas para toda la vigencia del nuevo convenio.
- Permisos, horas médico y otros aspectos
Horas médico: Aumento de las horas médico en 4 horas y ampliación de la edad de acompañamiento a 16 años.
Póliza de seguro: Ampliación de la póliza del seguro a 25 euros.
Permiso adopción: 60 días no retribuidos.
- Políticas de Igualdad
Delegada de Igualdad: 5 horas/ mes adicionales a las de crédito (Limitado a un máximo de 40 horas)
Violencia de género: reducción jornada sin reducción de salario máximo 1 hora diaria (6 meses
prorrogables otros 6), previo intento reordenación de jornada
- Otras
Reducción de los periodos de adaptación del artículo 12 del Convenio a 3 meses
Vacaciones: posibilidad de ampliar a la semana de Reyes, el disfrute de los días restantes de vacaciones que no se disfruten ininterrumpidamente.
Contrato de obra o servicio determinado: Ampliación de la duración máxima a 4 años
Contrato de relevo: acumulación jornada

En concreto, los artículos 52, 82 y 85, son redactados copiados de la Legislación vigente.
Como novedad, el Anexo IV del convenio, incluye un protocolo de acoso y modelo de denuncia, para las empresas que no dispongan de protocolo.
